Erisson de Melo Nery sacked after shooting student in bar

After shooting a student in a bar brawl, a police officer who boasted of having a “throuple” with his wife and another lady was fired.
Sergeant Erisson de Melo Nery gained notoriety in 2021 after publicly displaying his three-way romance with Darlene Oliveira and Alda Nery online.

The off-duty officer, who had previously bragged about his relationship to his 32,000 Instagram followers, was fired when he fatally shot a student during a bar brawl in Epitaciolandia, Brazil.
His dismissal occurred on January 26, and just yesterday, the police agency announced the decision and the specifics of the shooting (Thursday, February 9).
“But he punched Alda in the face and she was knocked out cold with a cut mouth. Then, when I saw her like that, I went after the guy. Outside, we got into a fistfight and I shot him.
“There were two shots, everyone grabbed him. He is stable and has been transferred to Rio Branco.”

In a another incident from November 2017, Nery shot and killed a 13-year-old after the boy and two other males reportedly tried to rob Nery of his home.
Two adults who were with his victim, Fernando de Jesus, fled over a wall but the teen remained behind.
Since then, allegations have surfaced that Nery and his law enforcement buddy Italo Cordeiro changed the scene of the crime to make it appear as though the gunshot was committed in self-defense.
The BOPE police tactical squad later detained Nery, but his attorney Matheus Moura said he will challenge the decision to fire his client.
